Grateful for a day spent with friend 
And family.  Grateful for the beauty 
In this life. 

 Amazed at how life just keeps changing,
And uncertain. Amazed changes make me feel 
I'm left aside. 

 Frightened of how lonely has returned
And deepened. Frightened my strengths fall short,
I'm just tired.
