An amazing amount of rain this day, water
Runs down the beautiful north window of
My friend’s studio.
Between errands, we paint, working while
Music and the patter of rain makes
Background noises perfect.
And "we" you must well know is not
A royal "we", more hurting, but we, only the
Ordinary everyday "we".
